Barbara owes her techniqueto the legendary teachers of the "Drama Centre London": Christopher Fettes and Reuven Adiv. The Drama Centre brought "the Method" to England and fused it with the groundbreaking technique of "Character Analysis" or "Movement Psychology" (based on Rudolf von Laban and Yat Malmgren). It is this Combination which laid the foundation for the careers of Anthony Hopkins, Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Anne-Marie Duff, Michael Fassbender, Tom Hardy, Helen McCrory, Regé-Jean Page, Gwendoline Christie among many others.
In the second generation, it is Giles Foreman who continues the tradition at his School of Acting, of which Barbara was a cofounder. Under the name “Giles Foreman Centre for Acting” it has established itself internationally as a leading training center for Method Acting and Movement Psychology.
